David Bell

David has considerable experience at senior management and director level across a range of sectors.  He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer and in 1985, started a hydraulic engineering business.  He went on to found a number of specialist engineering businesses and prior to joining LCH Generators in 2001, he headed up a company specialising in high-precision machining of power generation plant and marine engines across the globe.

As Operations Director of LCH, David worked with his colleagues to formulate and deliver the company’s strategic objectives.  He developed the company’s structure and operating model and implemented an integrated management system accredited to ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management and OHSAS 18001 for health and safety management.  This helped LCH deliver industry-leading standards of customer service, firmly establishing it as the market leader.
